Number 11 Bulletin of Komala Party:
The Islamic Republic’s responds to peaceful
demonstration with bloodbath
The Islamic
Republic of Iran has responded to peaceful demonstration of the residents of
the city of Saqez with opening fire directly at them. The latest news is that 5
people have lost their lives and more than 100 protesters are wounded, most of
them seriously. Security forces have blocked the entrances and exits to the
hospitals in the city and no one is allowed to enter or exit them. The military
helicopters are hovering in low level across the city to intimidate the
residents. Hundreds of people have also been arrested but the exact number is
not known yet. The entire city is in lockdown and martial law has been
announced. Despite the widespread presence of the security forces in the city, the
sporadic demonstration and clashes with the regime forces is still continuing.
The criminal
Islamic Republic, instead of responding to the just demands of residents of
Kurdistan about bringing to justice the perpetrators of the killing of the innocent
people in Kurdistan and cancellation of martial law, have brought helicopters
and other terrorizing techniques to intimidate people. But people of Kurdistan are united and demand
justice and freedom and will not stop until they achieve their objectives.
