This inhumane action showed, one more time, the true face of Islamic regime and its animosity towards the Kurdish people. If yesterday it was the killing of a Mahabadi youth under the most brutal torture, today its execution of Mr. Mohammadi only a few minutes before his visit with his children, which only shows different tactics that the regime is using to intimidate Kurdish people and repress their just demand for equal rights. These actions only show their intent to repress any dissent.

Execution of Esmaeel Mohammadi is done in the backdrop of international efforts of several human right organizations and a number of foreign ministries of several European countries as well as personalities to stop his execution. This shows clearly the new terrorizing and intimidating policy of the new government of Ahmadinejad.

Esmaeel Mohammadi was not the only one whose life has been shortened so inhumanely and no doubt will be the last, but this brutal action sure will fan people’s anger and make them more resolute in their demands. It will also strengthen their drive to overthrow this brutal regime and builds up a stronger Kurdish liberation effort.
