Number 3 Bulletin of Komala Party:
In
protest to the regime forces crimes, the bazaar in the city of Mahabad
was closed.
The news we have received from Mahabad
indicates that most of the shops in the city are closed. This closing is in
response to the recent atrocity of the regime in Mahabad, killing of Shirko
Amini. The shops in the city, especially those in vicinity of the crime scene
are closed. Regime forces are cruising in the city in groups of four or five
and have taken over some of the cross sections and public gathering places.
It must be mentioned that the regime forces
after returning the body of Shirko to the family escorted them to the cemetery
and let only a handful of family members to participate in the burial. The next
day a huge number of people participated in his memorial program in one of the
mosques in the city where the participants expressed their condolences to the
family of the victim.
Komala one more time expresses its deep
condolences to the family of Shirko and renew its commitment to the struggle
against the Islamic Republic of Iran. Shirko was one of activist youth of
Mahabad and now is the beloved son of all Kurds.
It has been said that people of the city
are planning to close the shops and bazaar on Saturday in solidarity with the
family and in a show of opposition to the regime’s crimes and repression in Kurdistan.
