Komala Party condemns blast in the town of Mahabad
On Wednesday,
September 22nd at 10: 30 in the morning, while a military parade in
the town of Mahabad was going on, a strong explosion near the
ceremony and among the civilians occurred. According to government
officials, 11 women and children have been killed in the explosion
and more than 50 people have been injured due to explosion.
Government officials,
accused opposition parties for doing this terrorist action.
Komala party of
Iranian Kurdistan totally condemns this act of terrorism and
declares that these kind of terrorist acts are alien to the Kurdish
movement and can only harm the democratic and just cause of Kurds in
Iran. It is worth mentioning that during the last three decades of
Kurdish liberation movement in Iran there has never been one single
instance of suicide bombing, civilian killings or any other
terrorist act.
We strongly believe that this terrorist act cannot distort the
positive face of the Kurdish movement among Iranian and
International public opinion.
While it is too early to say who exactly has carried out this
explosion but the Islamic regime and its various factions are among
the prime suspects. They have the ability and the motive to carry
out this act and will no doubt try to exploit this brutal killing of
innocent civilians to intensify their suppression in Kurdistan and
justify their future terrorist plots inside and outside the country.
